CHAI - Sénégal

The Government of Sénégal has embarked in an ambitious plan for scaling up pediatric HIV/AIDS treatment. In the past year, CHAI has supported this effort by working with the Ministry to help fill the pipeline of critical pediatric antiretroviral medications and lab reagents, and strengthening the national supply chain mechanism.

CHAI has also helped to facilitate the adoption of more efficacious formulations. In addition, CHAI is collaborating with the Ministry’s decentralization plan by supporting the rollout of early infant diagnosis, transport costs, psychosocial and data monitoring tools.
