CHAI - Namibia

In Namibia , CHAI is working with the Ministry of Health and other partners to improve efforts to care for and treat HIV-positive children. Efforts include helping to renovate a clinic providing family-based care; strengthening linkages at malnutrition wards to increase HIV testing; providing clinical mentoring support to train more nurses in Pediatric HIV care and treatment; and making critical commodities available, including the most efficacious pediatric antiretroviral medications, diagnostics, and ready-to-use therapeutic food.
