The 2008 Angelwish WIFFLE Ball Classic

Time to break out the electrical tape, start stuffing your bat, and practice your knuckler - the 2008 WIFFLE Ball season is here.

The July 11th edition of the Angelwish WIFFLE Ball Classic will be held at Stevens Institute in Hoboken, NJ. Teams of 3 - 5 people are invited to participate in this double elimination tournament to benefit Angelwish and its work in granting wishes to children living with HIV/AIDS.

A number of our corporate teams use the day as a team building event, a chance to give back to the community, and/or just a morale boosting day settling corporate rivalries with a plastic bat and ball.

However you choose to use it, Angelwish will make sure you have a great time. With Hoboken as the setting, the NYC skyline as a backdrop, Starbucks for breakfast and a post event celebration at Hoboken's Trinity Restaurant, you are in for a real treat of a day.

Entry into the tournament is only a $500 tax deductible donation per team (3 to 5 players) that will go towards Angelwish's work with children living with HIV/AIDS (Tax ID# is 22-3658778).

Entry fees include all required equipment (though you are welcome to bring your own old school bat), entry into the tournament bracket, and one entry into the big red bat homerun derby. Additional homerun derby entries can be purchased for $25.
